dPEG®x-biotin acid
Our dPEG®x-biotin acid products are amine-reactive biotinylation reagents designed for the biotin labeling of any molecule containing a free amine. Unlike our NHS and TFP ester products, these compounds require functionalization with an alkylating agent or carbodiimide activation to conjugate with an amine. However, these highly water-soluble, high-purity biotinylation reagents label biomolecules rapidly and completely. Moreover, unlike traditional hydrophobic biotinylation reagents (e.g., LC biotin), biotinylated conjugates do not aggregate and precipitate.
